I've now started to create sketches that show possible outcomes for this module. When sketching these designs, I've thought about the layout. Because I've recently researched about paper folds and interactive books, I'd like to apply my visual research to my final outcome.

For this design, I've sketched out an outside and inside view of a roundhouse. The two left drawings show the front and back view. The sketch on the right shows the fold that I will use. The fold that I've considered using for my work is the Turkish fold. I believe that this method will be effective because it will reveal a birds eye view of the inside of the roundhouse. I will use the folds to add objects onto the  walls, such as: shields, swords etc.

I think this design is effective because it is suitable for my chosen target audience. My piece of work is aimed towards young children. Therefore, I am going to develop this design to make it educational. I could do this by adding words next to the objects within the roundhouse so that children can learn key terms and how Celts would of lived.

I believe that this design could be developed even further by thinking about mediums and colour schemes.
