Mock up Design:

I've now started to create a mock-up of my final design. I've used paper and pencil. Using pencil has been effective because I've been able to apply a variety of lines to suggest patterns and textures. 

The images presented show the front and back of my mock-up design. The back of the roundhouse has a pocket so that the small cut outs that I've made can be put away after use. 

Making this mock-up has been useful because I've been able to see if my design is successful. 

I'm now going to continue to develop this design by creating another version that presents the uses of colour. Also, I think that I need to think about paper stocks and how they could add texture to my design.
