Lighting/ Time of Day work:

I have used the background that I've made to experiment with lighting and tone. When producing these pieces of work, I've used Photoshop. For this task, I've used lighting and tone to visually communicate the weather and time of day to viewers. The image on the left communicates how the environment is cold and how it could be night time. The image on the right communicates how it is a bright, warm day. 

I think that my pieces are effective because I've used suitable colours to reveal what the environments background is like. However, to improve these pieces, I believe that I could of added further hints of lighting and tone to certain elements to add realism. 

This task has been useful because I've been able to learn new skills when using Photoshop. Learning these new skills has made altering illustrations much quicker and easier.
